There was an actual time when my goal was to see every single zoo in the country… I actually decided to give up that dream when I began to discover that all sorts of zoos are just not locales where any particular animal should be living.
The Denver Zoo is honestly a must-do if you live in or visit the Mile High City.
The Denver Zoo has multiple types of animals for all to enjoy, & more importantly, they supply them with the kinds of residences that help them thrive & do well while people learn everything about them! Africa is totally represented in Denver. You can see & hear the African lion & see real African wild cats instead of through a Disney lens. If you totally feel for massive cats, why not check out the Siberian tiger, & if you want to show your USA pride, see if you can see the bald eagle. You can find exotic frogs, black rhinos, or an EastAfrican crowned crane that happens to be multi-colored. Because marijuana is legal in the city of Denver, it might be a wonderful move to plan your trip to the zoo with all sorts of time & energy leftover to care about some legal cannabis & a wonderful meal planned with wine. General admission starts at 10:00 a.m. The closing time always depends on the day of the year. The tiniest tots, 2 & under are no charge, larger kids cost a mere $14 to get in, & adults only need to pay $20. If admission rates are not to your liking, which isn’t likely, you still have a solid chance to go to the zoo. The Denver Zoo will hold Share the Love Days all the time throughout the year, & will use a lottery system to grant free admission for some fortunate folks.
