With good air conditioning, living in Orlando is a breeze

About 20 years ago, I decided that I needed a change in scenery. I used to live up north in a state that didn’t handle snow very well. In fact, when it snowed for an inch, the entire city would shut down or experience delays. One of the most frustrating Winters happened when we received over a foot of snow, which resulted in the city being shut down for over a week. I was stuck at home because the snow was piled up so much that some of the streets in my neighborhood were blocked. It was that year that I decided to move to Orlando Florida because it never snows here. Moving to Orlando was a big change of scenery. For one, the city has way more tourist attractions than what I was used to. Plus, the weather was a lot different, and it was one of the main reasons why I selected to move to Orlando. It’s usually warm for most of the year. And because we are a landlocked city, it can get humid here and at times uncomfortable. But to be honest, as long as I have good air conditioning, whether at home, at work or in my car, I will choose the warmer humid weather over the cold or snow. Most indoor places in Orlando will have some form of air conditioning, so the heat doesn’t bother me at all. Of course, my utility bill is a lot higher than it was when I lived up north, but I would rather pay the extra money for air conditioning than to live another day in a place where it snows.
