Moving to Orlando was a huge change of scenery; For one, the neighborhood has way more tourist attractions than what I was used to, but plus, the weather was a lot different, and it was one of the main reasons why I selected to move to Orlando.
About 20 years ago, I decided that I needed a change in scenery! I used to live up north in a state that didn’t handle snow unquestionably well. In fact, when it snowed for an inch, the entire neighborhood would shut down or experience delays, but one of the most discouraging Winters happened when my fantastic friend and I acquired over a foot of snow, which resulted in the neighborhood being shut down for over a week. I was stuck at dwelling because the snow was piled up so much that some of the streets in my neighborhood were blocked. It was that year that I decided to move to Orlando FL because it never snows here. Moving to Orlando was a huge change of scenery; For one, the neighborhood has way more tourist attractions than what I was used to, but plus, the weather was a lot different, and it was one of the main reasons why I selected to move to Orlando. It’s usually warm for most of the year, then and because my fantastic friend and I are a landlocked city, it can get humid here and at times uncomfortable, and but to be honest, as long as I have fantastic a/c, whether at home, at work or in my car, I will choose the warmer humid weather over the freezing or snow. Most indoor venues in Orlando will have some form of a/c, so the heat doesn’t bother me at all. Of course, my utility bill is a lot higher than it was when I lived up north, however I would rather spend money the extra cash for a/c than to live another afternoon in a venue where it snows.
