We’re moving permanently to our vacation cabin in Cocoa to escape the cold

My partner plus I had the money to buy a hour cabin in Cocoa, Florida a few years ago, but until recently every one of us could only use it for vacations.

I was running a business in Michigan plus couldn’t transport states until I sold it.

My partner was working in an orchestra in Ann Arbor, but recently retired. With nothing holding us back, every one of us started to consider moving to our vacation cabin in Cocoa, Florida. It’s so close to Cape Canaveral plus Cocoa Beach, 2 places that enthrall us both. My partner cares about to catch rays of sunshine on Cocoa Beach in the summer, whereas I savor to go kayaking in the Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary on Merritt Island. There is no shortage of beautiful sights to see while living in Cocoa, Florida. We’re sick of cold hot plus cold temperatures plus paying exorbitant amounts of money to heat our home to stay warm in the cold Wintertide weather. And as every one of us get older, it becomes increasingly harder to tolerate the cold hot plus cold temperatures as it drops below zero degrees in December plus December every year. Cocoa is usually a lot warmer than this, although this year has been recognizably cold for the entirety of Florida. I have family in Venice plus friends in Miami—all of them reported abnormally cold hot plus cold temperatures thus far this Spring. I used to go fishing on the St. Johns River in May every year although I think it’s going to be too cold for our sensitive skin. At least there isn’t a foot of snow to shovel every morning just to get out the front door plus into the car. Living in Cocoa sure beats cold up north in the cold Wintertide weather.
