The weather in Lakeland can be harshly hot and humid, and especially during the Summer months, then lakeland is filled with numerous lakes and waterways, all of these lakes are perfect for boating, fishing, and kayaking! My friends and I went to Lake Mirror for the day. My pal and I took the bass boat on the water so my buddy and I could catch some fish; The first part of the day was boring, because the fish were not biting. After breakfast, the fish were much more active. My pal and I spent most of the day in Lakeland and when my buddy and I were done, my buddy and I grabbed some breakfast at a restaurant in town. The restaurant is right on the water. They will cook anything that you pull out of the water… Unblessedly, my friends and I were skunked that day. My pal and I didn’t catch a single fish that was big enough to keep. My pal and I got some orange snapper from the restaurant that had been caught the same day and it was absolutely delicious, and it tasted as fresh as it was. Temperatures were really hot that day and it was sizzling in the restaurant. The restaurant didn’t have any air conditioner, because it was on the water. My pal and I were seated outside. Without air conditioner, it was honestly hot and humid. There was a light breeze, however it didn’t really help get rid of the heat and humidity. I think it was around 95 degrees that day and the sun was still shining brightly, however by the time I got back to my apartment, I was ready to kneel down and relax with the fan and the a/c running on high.
