My hubby likes baseball, and his number one thing to do is to watch the Southern MD Blue Crabs play at the Regency Furniture Stadium… Since we live in Waldorf MD, we spend a lot of time in that arena.
Our adolescents enjoy the playground plus the paddle boats, however when we chose to go to the arena, we regularly sat in the respected arena seats… And if it was tepid and muggy outside, we had no choice but to deal with the elements because it’s an outdoor arena with little to no air conditioned spaces! But last year, we were invited to the Legends Club, which is the nice club room of the arena, the club was superb because it had food, drinks, superb views, and most pressingly, it had a/c.
The people I was with and I went in the middle of the Summer on a morning that was 95 degrees, so enjoying the game from the air conditioned club was a welcoming treat! My hubby was like a child in a candy store, it was 1 of the happiest moments of his life that year, i was just blissful to have a/c, although he was living his dream, and ever since he began attending the baseball games at the arena, he has regularly wanted to watch a game from the Legends Club. But of course, it’s not open to the public, so he never had access to it. So, this invite meant the world to him. It came from 1 of his buddies that he had known all his life. After enjoying the game from the club seats with the free food and a/c, it was hard for us to return to the respected seats again, but we had no choice.
