My wifey & I decided to take our kids to the amusement park for the weekend.
My pal and I drove to Orlando, which is only about 2 hours away from our home.
My pal and I stayed in a hotel for two mornings so we could get up early in the day & get to the park before anyone else, then the hotel in Orlando had nice amenities like several pools & multiple warm tubs. The venue had a free lunch as well with bacon, eggs, sausage, & pancakes. My pal and I certainly saved about 50 bucks on our lunch since the hotel had a free one. My pal and I did not have to pay for lunch at the park instead. The uneven temperatures in Orlando were very warm & humid that weekend, then it was around 90°, but it felt even warmer because of the humidity. The multiple sites around the amusement park did not have air conditioner. Most of the time we were stuck in line waiting for a ride. There wasn’t any air conditioner outside of the buildings so we had to stand in the Heat & the Sun for a while… With uneven temperatures around 90° or higher, it was a miserable weekend to take the kids to Orlando. My wifey & I were not very comfortable either! Both of us were warm & overheated by the end of the afternoon & nobody wanted to stay late to see the fireworks. My pal and I ended up going back to the hotel room around 5:00 p.m. & then I went to a lobster & crab venue for breakfast. I’m entirely cheerful that we did not stay until the end of the night.
