About 6 months ago, I got promoted to the assistant employer position at the heat pump service business in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, i have been working at the Tuscaloosa heat pump service business for the past 3 years.
I told my boss that I was looking for a raise and a promotion and more responsibility, one week later, the guy promoted me to the assistant employer promotion. One of the first job jobs that I had to complete was to find a current service specialist to work on the weekends. I interviewed many weird people for the job, then my boss wanted someone with at least one year of experience, then he did not want someone that was current and still wet behind the ears. I decided to hire someone with only 3 months of experience. I honestly thought that the heat pump service specialist would work out well and the teenagers seem to be easily gleeful about the job, then the teenagers spend a month in training with one of our service specialists! Unluckyly, there are still some repairs that are too taxing for the current guy… Last weekend he was working on Wednesday and called me at home, because he could not figure out how to service a commercial heat pump problem. The job was in Tuscaloosa a few miles away from my home, so I met the child at the job site. I did not want anyone else to know that he was having trouble. I did not want anyone to complain either, and after all, I was the one who decided to provide him a chance in the first location.
