He offered me the place when he heard I was living out of state
One of the best things about Jacksonville, Florida, is the fact that the city is very spread out. The city is easily one of the largest in square footage in the whole entire country. From the east side of the city to the west side of the city, Jacksonville encompasses more than 50 miles from one side to the other. The city is also quite expansive when you drive from the north to the south. I live on the North side of the city and the beaches are still in our way. It’s crazy to think you can drive in one city for an hour and still be in the same city. I did not grow up in Jacksonville, but I moved here a couple of years ago. I got a job working for a heating and AC repair business that Services commercial and residential companies. I was working in Georgia before I got the job in Jacksonville. I was commuting for a while, but I decided to move to the city after one of my co-workers offered me a place to live. The guy had a two-bedroom apartment and his roommate moved out. He offered me the place when he heard I was living out of state. Now I’m only 15 minutes away from my job at the Jacksonville heating and AC repair business. If I didn’t have to get on the interstate, it probably wouldn’t take much time at all. Unfortunately, that’s the only way to get from one place to the other when you live in a big city like Jacksonville, Florida.
