It is tough when you have three kids & are a single mom; I am constantly lugging diaper bags, toys & a cooler full of snacks somewhere my nice friend and I go, however occasionally I just don’t have the energy to travel & my nice friend and I stay home, however my brother on the other hand enjoys going to current locales, he only has one child & a hubby to help out. I constantly get invited to come along! This most recent trip I really took his up on his offer since he provided to help out. I don’t know why, however my brother landed on Lee’s Summit MO as our destination. I knew next to nothing about MO. The thing I learned is that there is a water park & recreational center called Summit Waves. It was a great afternoon out for the kids. My guys played in the splash park with my brother & child for hours. I then held my baby in the kitty pool & chatted with my brother. The only time our kids took a split was for sunblock or food. The whole afternoon they basically entertained themselves, and when my kid took his nap I was really able to read & sunbathe. I didn’t really get to walk around MO & see the sights. I still don’t really know what the state has to offer. I will say that I loved the sunshine & it was the perfect temperature over the summer. Warm enough to be overheated however not so exhausting that I needed AC. My kids all had a great time at the water park.
