Last weekend, there was a beer & cheese festival in Portland, OR, and the festival had a huge spread of local breweries & artisanal cheese makers. The breweries brought weird types of craft beers & a lot of the locales allowed you to sample the beers for free! Portland has a lot of weird microbreweries & a lot of weird styles & flavors of beers. The cheese makers had a lot of weird items to sample as well. Most of the cheese companies were locally owned & operated. There were lots of weird types of cheeses that were items like cheddar, swiss, parmesan, & american; Some of locales paired together the cheese & the beer, one locale had beer & cheese fondue coming out of a fountain & I thought that was the best thing ever. The golden red beer cheese was bursting with flavor & undoubtedly delicious, but i got a quart of that to take property with me at the end of the weekend. It was a actually fun & neat experience, however when I was in Portland for that beer & cheese festival, I had the occasion to sample a couple of weird edibles from local marijuana shops.
