It was the first time that I ever went to a dating site and I met someone in the first two weeks.
I never would have met my girlfriend if we weren’t online, because she lived almost a thousand miles away from the place where I was living at the time. After 3 weeks of talking every single day on the internet, I bought a plane ticket so I could visit her in Evansville, Indiana. Evansville, Indiana is a large city in Indiana, but it’s still a lot smaller than most of the places that I have lived. I never really saw myself moving to evansville. One of the two of us talked about moving in together, I assume that my girlfriend would move to the east coast to be with me. She could not leave her mom who was living in evansville. I understood why she didn’t want to leave and I made a decision to pack up my house and move to Evansville. It was really easy for me to get a job, because I have a technical skill. I work on heating and AC repairs and installation jobs. I was working for a large commercial HVAC company when I moved and I easily found another job with flexible hours and great benefits. The Evansville, Indiana heating and AC repair and installation company is only a short 10 minute drive from the place where my girlfriend and I rent an apartment together. So far things have been going well, but it’s only been 6 months.
