I went on the Haunted Walk with friends after smoking a blunt at my apartment

Before moving to Toronto, I had been on a handful of “haunted” tours in varying places in which I have lived.

St.

Augustine in Florida has a number of old buildings from the civil war era that are purported to be haunted, but I experienced an interesting historical tour instead. You don’t have to be interested in the “haunted” part to go on a haunted tour in a historical district of an old city, especially if there is a lot to learn along the way. That’s how I learned about St. Augustine and its history as a settlement in the state. When I moved to Toronto, I shouldn’t have been surprised to learn that they have their own version of the haunted tour. Toronto’s Haunted Walk, or the Toronto Ghost Tours, starts at the courtyard in front of the Hockey Hall of Fame and explores some of the allegedly haunted buildings in Toronto’s core. I decided to smoke a blunt with my friends before we departed my apartment for the Haunted Walk at the Hockey Hall of Fame on Yonge Street. For $25 I was expecting more, but it wasn’t the worst evening either. Having the blunt beforehand definitely helped create some sense of excitement in our group, but most of us stayed for the history lesson more than anything else. Once we got back to my apartment we smoked another blunt before we all passed out on my living room couch. Even if you’re not a fan of the paranormal, there is still fun to have on a ghost tour if you’re visiting Toronto for any extended period of time.
