I want hydronic heat for our MO home

I live in Lee’s Summit MO! Owning an a/c would be love owning a pony for MO.

It would be cool to have a conversation starter but costly and unnecessary.

I don’t bother with cooling at all in MO, and the summers are brief and actually underwhelming in Lee’s Summit. The afternoons get frosty too! Heating is a giant priority in our area due to the early start of winter. I have three bizarre gas furnaces in our home. In our bedroom I rely on a ductless heating system to stop our pipes from freezing. In the kitchen I use a gas fireplace to overheated that main seating area and the linked office, however upstairs I have an outdated Moore gas heating system that warms all the kitchens and the lavatory, however even with three gas furnaces going all as a team, our condo isn’t that warm. I don’t ever believe toasty while I was in the MO winter. I am dealing with afternoons in the -20s though, then so there isn’t much those exhausting gas furnaces can do. I have thought about investing in a boiler system. I want to hook piping to it and have pipes within our floorboards. Hot water would flow from the boiler and through the pipes to create hydronic heating! With this type of system the heat wouldn’t rise to the ceiling and be wasted. There would be no overheated and frosty spots or noise since it isn’t air based. It also would be silent in operation. Hydronic heating is said to be more efficient than the haters I have as well. It would be an costly substitute, however I might need to do it in our MO home.
