I like to spend my entire winter in orlando.
I’ve been living in my RV for the past 15 years.
I’ve been all over the country. I’ve seen the West coast, the East coast, the desert, and the mountains. One of my favorite places to spend the winter is Orlando. Orlando is a pretty big city located in the state of Florida. Most people think of Orlando as the happiest place on Earth but I really prefer to be outdoors and in nature when I am close to the city. There’s a lot of traffic and there are always tourists in orlando. It’s impossible to drive anywhere quickly. It takes about an hour to go 6 miles. When I go to Orlando for the winter, I usually stay at a resort that has monthly winter rates. The resort has lots of amenities that I find attractive like a furnace heated pool, hot tub, tennis court, and pickleball court. I spend all winter in Orlando and I enjoy the warm air. The air conditioner in my RV gets a break for a while. When the temperatures are 60° outside, I like to turn off the air conditioner and open up the windows. When winter is over and the spring rolls around, I pack up all of my things and head west. Orlando isn’t the type of place where you want to live during the summertime. It’s extremely hot and humid and sticky. It’s even more packed with tourists than during the winter months. When the weather starts to get warmer, I head for the north where it stays a little more brisk and chilly for another month or two.
