I was born in New York City, and grew up there all my life and have not lived anywhere else. I did go to school in Pennsylvania but once I was done, I moved back home to the city. I am a city girl, and nothing can really change that. I love the sounds of the city, the culture and the people, and most of all, I love the pizza. I have traveled to a handful of states, and I have not been able to find pizza as good as the pizza in New York – NY pizza is the best. My husband Jacob is from the suburbs of Pennsylvania, we met in school, and he moved to NY after getting a job in a major engineering company. It was perfect because we were able to live in the city just like I always wanted. So you can only imagine how I felt when Jacob mentioned that he was offered a position in the Buffalo NY office of his company. It was a promotion, and he would be making significantly more money than what he makes now. After a spirited discussion, we decided to move to Buffalo, NY. I love that the city is near the border of Canada, but it is much colder than NYC, so I need to make sure that we have a great HVAC system where we live. I would prefer to have a zone control system with a smart thermostat. This will make it easier to save on our energy bill because we wouldn’t have to run the HVAC unit in unused spaces. I have been searching for homes with a zone HVAC and I found one that matches my needs. It even has heated floors in the bathroom, which is something that I am excited about. Now, I only need to find a local pizza place that sells good pizza, wish me luck.
