Due to COVID and all the travel difficulties I decided to elope stateside.
My fiance and I were originally planning on an overseas wedding and honeymooning there.
Instead we choose to go to California. We wanted somewhere warm, classy and would give us beautiful pictures. California is such a large state though. I went through my options of San Francisco, San Diego or Santa Barbara. My fiance and I then settled on Los Angeles. I am a big movie fan and we really wanted to get pampered. In LA you are guaranteed to have great meals out, a fantastic hotel with spa services and have lots to do. One thing I really wanted to do on my honeymoon was visit a recreational cannabis dispensary. Our state only allows for medical marijuana. I never went through the hoops to get a medical weed card and I really didn’t have a reason for one. I just wanted to first see a recreational weed shop, try some edibles and have a fun time. I knew that my fiance and I could easily do that in Los Angeles. I was surprised by the vast amount of cannabis dispensaries there. They all have different features like a dab bar, vape lounge or locally grown edibles. I researched and found the best one that was closest to our hotel. Rather than drink heavily on our honeymoon and feel terrible the next day, the two of us opted to buy some recreational weed and get high instead. It was a much more enjoyable time for us and more memorable.
