Greg and Paul found themselves looking for a new adventure last winter.
They love visiting new places when there’s the least number of tourists around.
This trend began when they were in college. They happened to plan this trip to an amazing hiking and camping area, but when they got there, they felt it wasn’t the best experience because the place was parked. All people prefer camping and hiking when the weather is nice and warm, so this led to their decision to travel during fall and winter. Perhaps they will have to change that when they get families, but for now, they will keep on their precious tradition. This time Paul suggested they toured Lowell Massachiusstes since they’d never been to this part of the country. Greg did some research and realized they’d need portable heating systems if they were to camp outside in Lowell. This part of the US gets long and frigid winters, so having a heating system at hand is a necessity. Paul suggested instead of camping outside in the brutal conditions, they could go ahead and rent a mountain cabin. Most were available since the area gets more visitors during summer. Though they love camping outside and being close to nature, this was a sound idea. The weather can turn in such parts and you end up in a lot of trouble when outside in a tent. The weather was just like they thought when they arrived in Lowell that winter, and they were glad to stay in a mountain cabin rather than camping outside in tents.
