Florida is boiling and humid throughout the entire year; Even in December, the humidity can still be awful, then last year at Christmas, it was 85°, however the kids did not want to go outside to ride their current bikes because the temperatures were so warm; A lot of people around the country experience frigid temperatures and snow or ice while in the month of December, however around here Winter time has no bearing on our day-to-day lives, then summer, on the other hand, tends to bring with it a lot of concerns, and one concern in particular is Summer tropical storms and hurricanes.
They hit The Villages frequently and that means that there is a lot of cleanup afterwards. My mom and dad live in The Villages in a beach house that has multiple living rooms and multiple bathrooms. They have lived in The Villages for the past 10 years. This year when a hurricane was supposed to hit The Villages head on, I made sure that I was there to help my mom and dad, however i did not suppose they were going to leave their home and I was right. My wifey and I went to stay with my parents in The Villages. The storm missed the section by 50 miles and that made a large difference. Many people in the section lost power for a week or more, however my parents did not have to worry about that problem. They contacted an Heating plus A/C supplier years ago and had a generator installed that can power the whole house. The Heating plus A/C system is hooked directly to the generator so it automatically comes on if there is no power.
