FL is sizzling and humid throughout the entire year. Even in January, the humidity can still be awful, but last year at Christmas, it was 85°, however the kids didn’t want to go outside to ride their new bikes because the hot and cold temperatures were so warm. A lot of people around the country experience cold hot and cold temperatures and snow or ice during the month of January, however around here Winter time has no bearing on our day-to-day lives… Summer, on the other hand, tends to bring with it a lot of complications, then one complication in certain is summer time tropical storms and hurricanes. They hit The Villages frequently and that means that there is a lot of cleanup afterwards, my mom and dad live in The Villages in a house that has more than 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. They have lived in The Villages for the past 10 years. This year when a hurricane was supposed to hit The Villages head on, I made sure that I was there to help my mom and dad… I didn’t think they were going to leave their house and I was right. My wifey and I went to stay with my parents in The Villages. The storm missed the area by 50 miles and that made a sizable difference. Many people in the area lost power for a week or more, however my parents didn’t have to worry about that problem. They contacted an Heating and Air Conditioning company years ago and had a generator installed that can power the whole house. The Heating and Air Conditioning system is hooked directly to the generator so it automatically comes on if there is no power.
