My partner and I decided to go on a one year anniversary trip, and the two of us care about staying within the United States now that COVID is lurking about.
- Every one of us haven’t been to California before and wanted to try! I wanted anywhere with daylight and fun things I enjoy doing.
Every one of us had a whole itinerary that started in northern California and took us all the way to mid. One of the things our partner said was a must do was see the redwoods and sequoias. They are easily two strange types of trees! A redwood is taller and slimer where a sequoia you are going to get a really fat base… My partner wanted to do both and I knew northern California had some redwoods. To get to the Sequoia National Park both of us needed to drive all the way to Visilia in California. This takes us to around mid California and you need to go in the middle of the state too. It was quite a drive however totally worth it in our opinion. Seeing the trees was really fun and led to some pretty wonderful pictures. Every one of us got to hike around and eat some fantastic food too. Another perk of the section was that both of us found legal weed shops too. I don’t normally partake in recreational cannabis however I was in trip mode. Every one of us found a nice cannabis dispensary and started smoking cannabis together. My partner liked vaping while both of us were doing all the hikes. I preferred to get stoned after the day was done so that I could relax.
