I went to school in Florida plus then moved back lake house to Buffalo NY, but my guy followed me in this move. He was downright shocked at NY living. He had never seen snow before until every one of us moved, then i remember him finding a snow brush in my vehicle plus asking why I had a tiny broom… Now he knows its purpose. He also has l acquired how to respectfully dress for the weather, and at first he tried to get away with stylish boots plus a peacoat. You can’t do that when the weather gets into the drawbacks. You need fur, waterproof plus thick layers. You need to double plus sporadically triple layer. Another thing is that it is an artform driving in the snow. People in Florida don’t get it. The most dangerous conditions they get is the rain. You need to turn on the wipers plus slow down. That is easy. With snow plus ice, you can’t just hit your brakes. The vehicle will lock up plus you will slide. You need to gently pump the brakes to slow the vehicle down before it comes to a stop. You also need to turn with the vehicle rather than against it when you slide. The key is slow plus controlled. No sudden movements or you are going to crash. I have slid horizontally down a road towards a telephone pole before. I just took my foot off the gas plus waited for the vehicle to stop. It all worked out fine. I then backed up plus continued my way home. My guy is still learning the proper way to drive here.
