Driving in the snow is a skill of mine

I went to school in FL and then moved back lake new home to Buffalo NY. My bestie followed myself and others in this move; He was downright shocked at New York residing. He had never seen snow before until every one of us moved, then i remember him finding a snow brush in my car and asking why I had a tiny broom, and now he knows its purpose. He also has l earned how to always dress for the weather, and at first he tried to get away with stylish boots and a peacoat, and you can’t do that when the weather gets into the disadvantages. You need fur, waterproof and thick layers. You need to double and sometimes triple layer. Another thing is that it is an artform driving in the snow, and people in FL don’t get it; The most dangerous conditions they get is the rain. You need to turn on the wipers and slow down. That is simple, with snow and ice, you can’t just hit your brakes. The car will lock up and you will slide. You need to gently pump the brakes to slow the car down before it comes to a stop. You also need to turn with the car rather than against it when you slide. The key is slow and controlled. No alarming movements or you are going to crash. I have slid horizontally down a road towards a telephone pole before. I just took my foot off the gas and waited for the car to stop. It all worked out fine. I then backed up and continued my way home. My bestie is still studying the proper way to drive here.
