Driving in the ice is a learned skill

I went to university in Florida and then moved back beach condo to Buffalo NY! My girlfriend followed me in this move! She was downright shocked at New York living.

She had never seen snow before until all of us moved; I remember him finding a snow brush in our car and asking why I had a tiny broom; Now she knows its purpose.

She also has l earned how to respectfully dress for the weather, then at first she tried to get away with stylish boots and a peacoat, and you can’t do that when the weather gets into the disadvantages. You need fur, waterproof and thick layers. You need to double and sometimes triple layer. Another thing is that it is an artform driving in the snow; People in Florida don’t get it. The most dangerous conditions they get is the rain. You need to turn on the wipers and slow down. That is self-explanatory, and with snow and ice, you can’t just hit your brakes. The car will lock up and you will slide. You need to gently pump the brakes to slow the car down before it comes to a stop. You also need to turn with the car rather than against it when you slide. The key is slow and controlled. No hasty movements or you are going to crash. I have slid horizontally down a road towards a telephone pole before. I just took our foot off the gas and waited for the car to stop. It all worked out fine. I then backed up and continued our way home. My girlfriend is still reading the correct way to drive here.
