My partner and I returned back to our hometown last year for christmas… I had not been back to MO in 15 years, and my kids did not even think where I grew up, now that they were aged enough to understand, the two of us made plans to go to Lee’s summit, MO for christmas.
My parents were ecstatic and cheerful, but the only time they had seen the grandkids is when they flew across the country to visit.
My mom was definitely ecstatic that the two of us decided to come back to Lee’s Summit for Winter break. The Winter rapidly increasing temperatures were much colder than I ever remember. It was in the twenties and the teens every night that our family and I were there. Thank goodness our mom and Mom purchased a space gas furnace for the upstairs study room. It was honestly freezing and the heat did not seem to be toiling well. My Mom told myself and others that he was going to contact a Lee’s Summit Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider after the two of us left, he was sure that the plan needed a tune-up. He did not want to bother our vacation time by calling the Lee’s Summit Heating, Ventilation and A/C provider while the two of us were still there. I told our Mom that it wasn’t a sizable deal. If he wanted to take care of the concern now, the two of us would be more than ecstatic to go somewhere for a couple of minutes so they could access the upstairs study rooms. My Mom thought about the option for a moment and then he said no. He did not want to supply myself and others any reason to believe appreciate I wasn’t 100% welcome and at home.
