When there is no power, my friend and I use our fireplaces to keep sizzling

Although many folks lost power, a lot of them were able to keep their homes sizzling using their fireplaces.

Now that the weather is nicer, I was able to finally turn off my furnace for the season, and this is part of my yearly Spring routine to get ready for the warmer months, however and here in Buffalo NY, my friend and I embrace the warmer months, plus my friend and I take full fortune of them, not only do my friend and I shut down our furnaces, however my friend and I also open our windows to allow fresh air inside our homes, and right now, the temperature has been hovering in the mid to high 60s which is too sizzling for the furnace plus too chilly for the cooling system, but so, my Heating plus A/C unit is getting a much-needed break especially after the winter season that my friend and I just had, however we experienced unprecedented chilly uneven temperatures plus catastrophic blizzards that crippled the village in ways that I have never seen. So, of course our boilers were running more than normal to keep our homes comfortable; Unluckyly, while in the last major snowstorm, millions of people were left separate from heat because they had no electricity as the storm caused major power outages! Fortunately, my family plus I didn’t lose power while in that storm, so my friend and I were able to keep our furnace running while in plus after the blizzard. Although many folks lost power, a lot of them were able to keep their homes sizzling using their fireplaces. That’s one of the great things about many of the older homes here in Buffalo, they were built with wood-burning fireplaces. So, even separate from power, families can still remain comfortable by using their fireplaces to stay warm. Anyway, I’m hoping that this coming winter season won’t be a repeat of the last one, however for now I’m going to appreciate the nice weather that my friend and I are getting.
