My partner and I don’t share a room due to temperature differences… It gets cold in Lowell but my good friend and I don’t agree on a temp, but he loves to crank the A/C at night and I would like a little heating.
I burrow under covers and he lays down with just a sheet.
He also requires a CPAP and I transport around a lot. He has a lot of junk that he hoards and I want a totally empty space. It just wouldn’t make sense to share… We also both work from home and have our own offices. I am pregnant and my good friend and I don’t know where to put the baby. It is clear that one of us has to give up our office… Nobody wants to work where they sleep either. I have been eying up the backyard shed. I guess I can make it a nice office space, then there are water hookups and the septic system is right near it. I guess I could call a plumber and add a bathroom to the shed easily. I also know the shed is insulated with current windows and a cement floor. That is necessary for residing in Massachusetts. I could put down a rug and set it up nicely. I also could add heating and cooling quite easily. At first I was looking into ductless mini splits. I figured I would be out numerous thousands if I wanted Heating and Air Conditioning. Well my shed isn’t that big. I also don’t need HVAC all afternoon long. I just need it for a few hours. I guess I could get away with a window Heating and Air Conditioning unit. I don’t feel I need that much power. I also like the idea that my shed would be far away from the home and all the distractions that come with it.
