Denver is a very cool and unique place to live.
Denver is one of the top destinations to live in the entire country.
There are a number of reasons why people like to live in this city, but I was drawn to the place when recreational marijuana was legalized in 2012. Amendment 64 was passed through the Senate allowing legal recreational cannabis and I was living in a different state at the time. I was very close to Denver, Colorado and I had a couple of friends already living in the city. They told me that Denver was an awesome place to live, and I decided to move there a few months after the first legal recreational cannabis dispensary opened for business. Denver is referred to as the mile high city, because it is exactly one mile above sea level. There are a lot of days of sunshine and Denver has one of the highest totals of sunny days in all 50 states. There are lots of places to visit including sports stadiums, museums, restaurants, and national parks. The city is extremely green friendly and environmentally conscious. Denver is easily one of the coolest places that I have ever lived. There are at least a hundred different reasons why a person might want to move to the city. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit the mile high city, I would put it on your bucket list. The scenery and the mountains are absolutely stunning. They provide wonderful daytime hiking spots. Over 200 bars and restaurants downtown means the nightlife can be fun and entertaining as well.
